Rules for Submitting Photographs

Our ability to identify the species is dependant on the quality and detail of the photograph.

Try to have a reference object (i.e. penny. Quarter etc.), included in the picture so that the approximate size of the plant part can be identified.

Along with a whole plant picture, take pictures of every distinguishable feature of the plant (i.e. leaf, stem, flower etc.). It is always better to have too many photographs versus not enough.
